Before the appointment is booked
Send a photo of the piece and your ZIP code. Confirm the furniture pieces and the total quote. Mention the city or ZIP, stairs, parking rules, access restrictions and any deadline for using the seating again.
Clear what you can safely move
Remove personal belongings, blankets and small items around the furniture. Make a practical route to the agreed work area. Do not move a heavy sectional, disconnect powered mechanisms or lift large pieces alone; tell us about access rather than risking damage or injury to create space.
Keep the treatment history available
Let us know about stain removers, deodorizers, protectors and previous cleaning. Point out worn or damaged areas as well as dirt. Avoid applying new products just before the visit because that can complicate the assessment and the expected result.
Plan for pets and children
Arrange a comfortable place away from the work area during cleaning. Follow the product and drying guidance provided for the actual job; do not assume a material is ready to use simply because the cleaning step has finished. Damp cushions should remain uncovered and out of use until dry.
Agree on the final walkthrough
Before work starts, confirm which pieces and treatments are included. After cleaning, discuss visible results, remaining marks and drying. Keep the contact details handy if you have a question afterward. LUX’s minimum service order is $135; any scope change should be discussed before additional work.
